Yes. You can buy cables that connect your laptop to the back of the TV, allowing it to play what you can see on your laptop screen. Each computer requires a different cable so the best thing is to go to your nearest electronics retailer and ask them.
Find a friend that does have a computer and you can lead the course and they can host it. You can also watch the course on your smart phone.
No. We have no imminent plans to produce the course on DVD.
The videos are only 15 minutes long. If your group is comprised of less than four people, an iPad should be fine. Simply plug in some speakers.
Before you decide, take a look at the Leaders’ Guide and Cheat Sheets we’ve put together. There’s a huge amount of information for each session to guide you through as you lead. There’s also a short video from Pete Greig explaining how to run the course.
As big as you like. At least two people is preferable so you can discuss what you’ve heard.
The Leaders’ Guide and Cheat Sheets are filled with helpful hints and discussion starters.
If you’re still worried, why not ask a friend to come along and be a group helper? They can then get the conversation going if it’s a little quiet.
You can either do it as homework each week or extend your course to twelve weeks and do it on alternate weeks, but this may not be practical for some. You should only consider doing the Bible study after the discussion if you have two hours or longer available (not including refreshment breaks and food). The key is to not cut the discussion short because you want to get onto the Bible study.
Yes. Look up the Cheat Sheets on this site.
You can, but things are always more fun with friends!
Yes, please. They are in that order for good reason.
No, sadly not. The files are too big.
Yes. This course is for anyone wanting to grow deeper in their prayer life and understand it all a little better. It’s perfect for post-Alpha guests too.
Everyone is entitled to an opinion. You don’t need to agree with your guest’s views but it’s good to allow them to share their thoughts.
You don’t have to but you’d be missing out if you didn’t!
